Enter details of the desktop pool.
1. Region: Select the region from the dropdown where you want to set up your desktop pool
2. Desktop Configuration: Select the configuration of the desktop from the dropdown
3. Node: Select the node from m5 or m6i from the dropdown which you would want to purchase
4. License Type: Based on the use case, select the license type from the drop down (persistent or non-persistent)
5. VM Disk Size: Select the storage that you would want to attach to the VM
6. VM hrs/mo: Enter the expected number of hours per month for each VM in your pool (typical knowledge worker VMs run 160 hours per month)
7. Number of VMs: Enter the number of VMs expected to be in the desktop pool

Customer IaaS Discounts

Enter the discounts you might have received from your IaaS provider.
1. On Demand Dedicated Host: Enter the discounts that you get for On Demand Dedicated Host
2. 1yr All Upfront: Enter the discounts that you get for 1yr all upfront payment
3. 3yr All Upfront: Enter the discounts that you get for 3yr all upfront payment
4. GP2: Enter the discounts that you get on GP2 storage disks

Estimated Cost / Month

The estimated costs for running the desktop pool are summarized here.
1. It gives a monthly $ estimate of the desktop configuration you have selected if you go with EC2 or Core. It recommends the cheapest option from the option for EC2 or Core.
2. Summary provides a split of compute, storage and networking costs.
3. Overview of all the resources that would be required based on the resources you have selected along with their quantity, size, estimated $/Desktop/mo
4. GPUs are only offered on Core at this moment.
